Why Wolf Mountain Camps? "Wolf Mountain is so much more than activities..." As parents, we strongly desire to raise our children to be successful, mature adults who enjoy life and positively influence everyone they meet. At Wolf Mountain we recognize the problem parents everywhere are facing: these days it is a struggle to find influences outside the home that support and strengthen what we teach our kids at home. Wolf Mountain is one of these supporting influences. Our mission is to help your children GROW into healthy adults—and we’ve built this place to help you reach your goals in raising your children. Why Wolf Mountain Camps? These days life is filled with noise, distraction, and confusion that assail our children. Fifty years ago some of the biggest problems in schools were students not staying in line, not raising their hands and putting gum under their desks—but today drugs, gangs and sexual issues confront young people every day. Wolf Mountain provides a temporary community filled with new friends, challenges and adventures—all geared toward giving children opportunities to discover how much they are loved by God and to learn in a deeper way what they’ve heard from their parents. Attending Wolf Mountain is so much more than activities: here they can experience an exciting and loving community in a way they may never have before. It may be hard to believe that just getting your children out of their normal busy lives bombarded with images, text messages, and noise; and bringing them to a place out in nature filled with relationships and adventure can allow God’s love to speak into and influence the hearts of your children…but Wolf Mountain’s 46 years of experience has shown it to be real. As parents, it is decisions like these that we will look back on and likely see that they were turning points in our kids’ lives. I encourage you to read what parents have said about the long-term impact Wolf Mountain has had on their kids, and then decide what the priority is for your children this summer. |
