Mother-Daughter Retreat

In Her Shoes
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? At least that's how the saying goes. It's always cute to see little children try to copy Mom or Dad by playing dress-up or repeating things they hear their parents say often. As our children grow older, sometimes imitation reveals the flaws we hoped were hidden the deepest. Our goal as Christians is to be more like Christ, so that when our children imitate us, Christ is what is seen and God receives the glory. Your role as a mother plays a vital part in the life of each of your children, especially your daughters. Let them see what a joy it is to serve the Lord so that they will strive to follow in your shoes and become strong Christian women. We pray that you will leave this retreat closer to your daughter and more grounded in Christ.
